Our studio develops well-rounded musicians who strive for excellence in technique and artistry. Through our characteristic, whole-person development approach, we pull this excellence within reach. Constant growth is the name of the game. Together, we create SMART goals, maintain weekly habit trackers, and analyze our progress. Performance training is integral, and students are accompanied by piano at every lesson. Meanwhile, we immerse ourselves in great music, learning about the meanings behind the notes – and what the notes mean to us

Enthusiastic students of all ages and levels are encouraged to join the community.

INSPIRE - EMPOWER - IMPROVE - EXCEL

THE RAINBOW LADDER

Every student who joins the studio steps onto the rainbow ladder, our system of graded repertoire. Each level develops the whole musician through the practice of scales, technical exercises, pieces, and music theory.

The White level, for new beginners, includes exercises to encourage correct form, open-string folk songs from around the world, and an introduction to reading music. The Black level, for emerging professionals, includes concertos by composers like Sibelius and Brahms.

The rainbow in between is where the magic (and hard work!) happens. Baroque through contemporary, Suzuki, the Royal Schools of Music – we do it all. Within a level, students are encouraged to choose between different pieces to play, so that they always feel positively connected to their work.

Our studio offers two different tracks.

The Leggiero Track: Students receive one lesson per week and, to perform in two recitals a year, are expected to practice 6 days a week for 30, 45, or 60 minutes depending on their lesson length.

• Leggiero II: $189 per month for 45-minute lessons (students age 6 to 10)

The Vivo Track: Students receive two lessons per week and, to perform in four recitals a year, are expected to practice 6 days a week for 45, 60, or 90 minutes depending on their lesson length.
